The PIA Testing Institute for Wastewater Technology (PIA Prüfinstitut für Abwassertechnik GmbH) is an independent testing, research and certification institute specializing in decentralized wastewater treatment systems, drainage systems and environmental technologies. For more than 25 years, PIA has been supporting manufacturers, operators, engineering companies and authorities with comprehensive testing, assessment and certification services.
Our expertise covers products and systems for wastewater collection, treatment and discharge, including treatment technologies, separators and infrastructure components. PIA conducts laboratory and field testing according to national and international standards, supports product development and provides technical evaluations for market approval and quality assurance.
