DESABAG GmbH
About us
DESABAG is a German specialist in Big Bags and flexible packaging solutions for industrial, construction, remediation and waste-management applications. Since 1995, DESABAG has supplied reliable products for the handling, storage and transport of bulk materials and materials requiring controlled containment.
Our portfolio includes standard FIBCs, specialist Big Bags for asbestos and mineral wool, asbestos sheet bags, container liners and liftable container bags, woven polypropylene sacks, polyethylene bags, garden bags, personal protective equipment and handling accessories. We offer both readily available standard products and application-specific solutions for construction, hazardous-material remediation, agriculture, industry and waste management.
A particular focus is placed on packaging solutions for asbestos, mineral wool and other materials requiring reliable containment, clear warning labels and controlled handling. Our products are developed around practical requirements and are designed to support safe, efficient and regulation-compliant processes.
In addition to our online range, DESABAG develops customised FIBCs, container liners and other flexible packaging solutions. Dimensions, fabric specifications, top and bottom constructions, lifting-loop configurations, coatings, PE liners, closures, warning labels, colour coding and printed branding can be adapted to the intended application.
Within the DESA GROUP, practical experience from construction, remediation, transport and waste handling contributes to the continuous development of our products and technical advice. DESABAG specialises in packaging solutions, while DESABAU operates separately as a certified waste-management company.
We serve private customers, trades and contractors, construction and remediation companies, industrial businesses and waste-management operators. Our objective is to provide reliable, practical packaging solutions tailored to real operating conditions.

Zip-Closure Container Liner for Asbestos – ADR 2025 Compliant
This large-format container liner is designed for the safe collection, containment and transport preparation of asbestos-containing waste during remediation, demolition and disposal work. Measuring 620 × 240 × 125 cm with a capacity of 18.6 m³, it is suitable for lining compatible roll-off containers and handling large volumes of contaminated material.
The liner is made from coated polypropylene fabric and features a three-sided apron with cover, a zip closure, additional retaining and closure straps, and an integrated PE inner liner sewn into the upper hem together with the zipper. This construction supports controlled filling and secure closure after loading.
A clearly visible asbestos warning print ensures unambiguous identification. The design reflects the relevant ADR 2025 requirements for the transport of certain asbestos-contaminated waste.

40 m³ Container Liner for Asbestos and Mineral Wool Waste
This large-volume container liner is designed for the safe collection and containment of asbestos and mineral wool waste during remediation, demolition and disposal projects. Measuring 700 × 240 × 240 cm with a capacity of 40 m³, it enables efficient use of large containers and is particularly suitable for lightweight, high-volume materials.
Made from coated polypropylene fabric, the liner features a three-sided apron with cover, a closed bottom, and retaining and closure straps for secure positioning and closure inside the container. It can also be used as an additional outer packaging layer for filled FIBCs and asbestos sheet bags.
The continuous liner system provides an additional containment layer within the container and helps reduce the risk of fibre release during handling and transport preparation. This model has no lifting loops, as it is designed exclusively for lining a container and is not intended to be lifted independently.

Container Bag with Lifting Loops
Unlike conventional container liners, this large-format container bag can be lifted and repositioned as a self-contained packaging unit. Its integrated lifting loops allow the filled bag to be moved by crane using suitable lifting equipment, providing greater flexibility during loading, handling and on-site material movement.
With dimensions of 350 × 240 × 150 cm and a capacity of 11.5 m³, the bag is suitable for construction, demolition, recycling, waste-management and industrial applications involving large volumes of material.
The bag is made from coated polypropylene fabric and features a three-sided opening with a cover, as well as retaining and closure straps for controlled filling and secure closure. It is supplied without printing.
