About us
GSB has more than 50 years of experience in the disposal and recovery of hazardous waste and accepts waste from Italy for more than 25 years. The company operates two high temperature rotary kilns at Baar-Ebenhausen close to Munich. With its capacity of 220,000 tons/year the incineration plant is the biggest in Central Europe.
The proximity to the market is a big advantage for Italian waste generators. The wide range of treatment options both for bulk liquid and solid waste, as well as for packed waste makes GSB a reliable partner for your hazardous waste. The incineration plant is licensed for all hazardous and many non-hazardous waste codes for special waste.
Further on GSB operates a network of transfer stations, chemical-physical treatment plants and hazardous waste landfills in Bavaria.
Main shareholder of GSB is the Free State of Bavaria (79.2%), other shares belong to companies from industry and trade (14.3%) as well as to associations of Bavarian municipalities (6.5%).
