Separation press BS20 – Reliable removal of compressive waste Parts
• can process almost any waste with a sufficiently high content of fermentable substances
• Due to the large ball passage, even rough contaminants such as stones are no problem
• After pressing, the fermentation material can be sanitized without further treatment in accordance with EC Regulation 1069: 2009 (particle size 12 mm).<
• Exceptionally favorable water balance, since the separation up to a TS content of 25% requires no water addition
Floor scraper RM10/RM13 – Patented floor cleaning system, reliable cleaning of containers during operation
After processing, many organic wastes still contain substances that settle in the fermenter (eg stones, sand, bone fragments, pieces of glass, egg shells, etc.). For fermenters to fulfill their function permanently, these suspended solids must be discharged on a regular basis. The floor cleaning system is used for the continuous discharge of sinking substances from the fermenter. The system consists of the patented mechanical floor scraper, the sediment discharge pump and the sediment separator.
SkimmerLS01/LS02 – Continuously remove floating contaminants
The skimmer system is used for the continuous discharge of floating substances from a fermenter / container. The system consists of the patented skimmer and a standard screw separator.
• Skimming materials (films, fiber material, etc.) from the liquid surface
• Prevention of floating ceilings
• Installation on top (LS01) or mounting from the side (LS02)
• Design-related gas-tight in every operating condition
Robust Piston Pumps for industry, environment and agriculture
Since the construction and commissioning of its own “food waste only” biogas plant in the year 2000
FINSTERWALDER is part of the industry. For more than 25 years we have successfully designed, built and maintained biogas projects for organic waste treatment with our team of engineers and scientists on nationally and internationally. Reliable pumps, adapted to your project conditions, are developed and manufactured in our own mechanical engineering department.
Gate valve Pump KP10 - The little Powerhouse
The gate valve pump KP10 is ideally suited for pumping highly abrasive and hot media containing, for example, sand, stones, glass and metal parts.
Ball valve Pump KV20 - Our Allrounder
The ball valve pump can promote all types of suspensions and sludge with a throughput capacity of up to 30 m³/h and a conveyor pressure of up to 32 bar.
Gate valve Pump KS23 - Our Allrounder
The ball valve pump can promote all types of suspensions and sludge with a throughput capacity of up to 30 m³/h and a conveyor pressure of up to 32 bar.
Gate valve Pump KS32 - The big one
The KS23 is based on robust piston technology and allows substrates to be pumped with large particles. Starting were the smaller KS23 ends this pump has connections from DN250 to DN350. 80L per stroke are pushed out of the D320mm delivery pipe with a max pressure of 16bar.
Pasteurization System
For viscous and highly abrasive organic waste
The higher the total solids content of the processed organic waste, the more revenue is generated per ton of organic waste processed through your plant. lncreasing the total solids content of the waste processed from 10% to 20% reduces by 50% the amount of digestate produced.
Each pasteurization system is sized individually and modular by design, with current reference sizes ranging from 30 to 100 tons/day. The FINSTERWALDER pasteurization system closes the gap between waste handling, pretreatment and the anaerobic digester. Individual design and detailed calculation based on long term trials and a large database.
Digester Health Monitoring
Manual or fully automated - for efficient biogas production
The Importance of Bicarbonate Monitoring
Bacteria in anaerobic digester require a pH-value in the range of about 6.5 to
8 to efficiently produce biogas. Stabilization of the pH-value within this range is predominantly obtained (> 85%) by the release of large amounts of bicarbonate (a buffering compound) from the anaerobic decomposition of organic wastes.
Process interruptions, such as overfeeding, often result in increased concentrations of volatile fatty acids (VFA) and to decreasing amounts of bicarbonate as these acids consume the bicarbonate.
lf these interruptions continue, the supply of bicarbonate will become depleted leading to a rapid decrease in the pH-value and subsequently a reduction biogas production and in extreme cases, complete biological collapse leading to plant failure.
The Bicarbonate-Tester The simple one
Advantages of Process Control with an In-Line Bicarbonate Monitor
» Process interruptions are detected much earlier than by pH-value analysis
» Rapid response gives operators more time to avoid economic losses
» Ease of operation with results in just 5 minutes!
» Fully automated with no messy sampling
» The data is easy to understand
» No calibration required
» Very low operating costs
» Robust and approved analytical method
» Faster and easier than the FOS /TAC measurement method
Fully Automated - The Bicarbonate Analyzer
Advantages of Process Control with a Bicarbonate-Analyzer
» With fully automatic monitoring of a plants bicarbonate level the APAS monitor will detect changes earlier than other tools available. Rapid results give an operator the time needed to avoid economic losses.
» The large amount of generated data by fully automatic monitoring enables a close relationship to the existing operating conditions inside a digester. Determining what causes dips in biogas production becomes significantly easier.
» The automated measurement feature enables 24 / 7 remote monitoring of the biological system.
» The APAS testing method increases the availability of biogas plants and thus their financial success.
